Aristocrat Leisure has reiterated its ambition to generate $1bn in annual revenue from its Interactive division within the next three years, targeting fiscal year 2029. The company confirmed that this figure includes its share of revenue from the NeoPollard Interactive joint venture.

During its earnings call for the first half of fiscal year 2026, covering the six months to 31 March 2026, management addressed investor concerns that the company may be slightly behind its internal trajectory toward that goal. Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Trevor Croker acknowledged that progress has not matched earlier expectations but stated that the company maintains a clear focus on reaching the target.

In the first half of fiscal 2026, Aristocrat’s Interactive division reported revenue of $230.3m, representing a 6.5% increase compared to $216.3m in H1 2025. Profit for the segment declined to $64.3m, down 10.6% from $71.9m a year earlier. The margin narrowed to 27.9%, compared to 33.2% in the prior period.

Croker stated that the company sees scaling opportunities by bringing established land based franchises into digital formats. He highlighted the upcoming digital launch of Lightning Link as a key milestone later this year.

US and Canadian Market Access Seen as Growth Drivers

Aristocrat reported that it currently operates in all US markets except Rhode Island and expects Rhode Island, Maine, and additional Canadian provinces to open in due course. The company said it now has access to 94% of the relevant market.

In iLottery, Aristocrat identified Massachusetts and Michigan as coming online in July. Colorado is currently subject to an open request for proposal process. Management described iLottery expansion as a significant component in progressing toward the $1bn revenue ambition.

The company also pointed to incremental capabilities within its platforms business, such as gaming analytics, as part of efforts to enhance scale and operational momentum. Group Financial Performance Provides Broader Context

At group level, Aristocrat reported revenue of AUD 3.028bn for H1 2026, compared to AUD 3.035bn in the prior year. EBITA rose 6.2% year on year to AUD 1.12bn, with margin increasing to 36.9% from 34.7%. Profit increased 8.4% to AUD 794m.

Within Aristocrat Gaming, revenue grew 4.9% to AUD 1.96bn, while profit rose 3% to AUD 1.06bn. Margin in that segment was 54.2%.

Product Madness, reported in US dollars, generated social casino revenue of $541.7m, up 4.7% year on year. Social casual revenue declined sharply to $4.5m from $52.2m, reflecting the sale of that business early in the half. Overall Product Madness revenue was $546.2m, down 4.1%, while profit increased 3.6% to $253m. Margin improved to 46.3%.

Croker stated that the company continues to pursue its capital management strategy, including an on market share buy back program, and is leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance processes and operational efficiency.
